KEN Kenya streets_edJefferson Gathu, director of CBI Kenya, and Matthew Nsibiet, acting director of CBI Nigeria-Akwa Ibom State, have both requested prayers for safety amid increasing violence.

In Nairobi, twin bomb blasts recently killed ten people and left dozens injured. The attacks are suspected to have been carried out by Al-Shabab, a militant Islamist group. In Nigeria, Boko-Haram—the terrorist group behind the kidnapping of over two hundred Nigerian schoolgirls—is also staging increasingly violent attacks.
