Crossroad Bible Institute’s campus in Australia is planning to introduce the CBI program to Cobham Remand Centre, a facility in St. Marys for high-risk juvenile detainees. The staff of CBI Australia are working with the facility’s chaplain, who will be able to personally assist the students.
CBI Australia plans to use the Manga Messiah course, which presents the Gospel in graphic novel format. Australia has over one thousand juveniles in detention and five thousand more under community supervision, so this partnership could lay the foundation for a fruitful ministry of bringing God’s healing Word to young people in need.
